Our work

Real issues. Read any of them, cover to cover.

Nothing here is a mockup or a concept board. Every issue below was written, designed, proofed, printed and mailed for a real client, and published as a flipbook you can open on this page — every column, every article, every page.

The library

Open one, then keep going.

Every cover opens into the full issue — every column, every article, every page — and you can move straight on to the next one without closing it.

Production

How an issue gets made.

The same five steps every month, from the call at the start of it to the copy on somebody's kitchen counter.

Printed sheets running through the rollers of an offset press.
01

We call you

Twenty minutes near the start of the month about what is actually going on — a matter that closed well, a new hire, the question three clients asked in a row. Most of the issue comes out of that call, which is why it sounds like you rather than like a template.

02

We plan the issue

You see the outline before a word is written: the personal column, the useful article, the firm news, and the thing worth keeping. Approving a plan takes a minute and saves a rewrite.

03

We write it

Five or six short pieces at 200–400 words, researched and drafted by us and edited by a person. Long enough to be worth reading, short enough that it gets read.

04

We lay it out and you approve the proof

Four pages typeset to your masthead, your colors and your logo, then a print-ready PDF for you to read before anyone else does. Layout and proofing both run on production software we built in-house for this — that is why the date agreed a month ahead is the date it ships, even when the month gets busy.

05

It lands in the mailbox and the inbox

Printed and posted through our print partner and billed to you at cost, published as a digital flipbook with a link you can send, and emailed to your list the same week — so the people who ignore post see it anyway.

What you will not find on this page

We will not hand out a client’s contact details, tell you what any client pays, or show you work that is not already public. Every issue in the library is one the client publishes and links to themselves, and it appears here with their knowledge. You would want exactly the same discretion, so it is written into our agreements.

Want one of these with your name on it?

Send a short note about the practice and what is — or is not — happening with your marketing. Brandon reads every one of these himself and will tell you straight whether we are a fit.

No pitch deck, no discovery-call gauntlet. One conversation, and a straight answer.
